Go to Solution. Solved by Alfred. You might have both folders which is a proof for you have a 64bit operating system, but not if you do have a running a 64bit or 32bit AutoCAD.

By default on 64bit operating systems AutoCAD will be 64bit too. But there are installers which can install a 32bit AutoCAD in an 64bit operating system Yes as Alfred. Autodesk will show in both, since some components are 32 bit.

I tried getenv command in but it doesn't seem to exist. Any other options for ? I thought I was running 64 bit, but my task manager shows some 32 bit security processes running under the application, and cad keeps hanging up every few commands. Maybe a compatibility issue? My problem is that the program hangs up not responding for from 1 to 3 minutes after every several commands.

No one particular command does it. Not really a subject for this thread. The problem started after I installed which would just randomly completely freeze up and wouldn't even let me get to task manager to end process. I read threads that others had the same issue with no solution so I went back to use which now doesn't work, and I have to reload my profile every time I open it. I tried the fixes in various threads, with no improvement and tried loading various different profiles, so now I am grasping at straws.

Please help if you can. Exactly where did you find that 32 bit version and why don't you just go back and get the correct installer for your system?

This thread is about the release and figuring out how many bits the system has so that the appropriate version can be downloaded. It's practically ancient history. It's my understanding that is not available or supported anymore and more recent versions are only available in 64 bit. AutoCAD Forum. Turn on suggestions. Message 11 of In Autocad you have to use Lisp, so you have to write it like others above wrote it. But you can also check this outside of Autocad.
